Peacefully surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 of Andrew E. (Andy) MacLean of MacLean Ave, Kensington aged 82 years. Born in Kensington, Sept. 24, 1928, son of the late Gerald and Hazel (Harding) MacLean. Husband of Doreen (Smith) MacLean. Father of Don (Cathy) MacLean, Kensington; Brenda (Ron) Cutcliffe, Cape Traverse; Arnold MacLean, Waverley, NS and Calvin (Tracy) MacLean, Kensington. Grandfather of Carolyn (Chris) Doucette, Halifax, NS Ashley and Aryn MacLean, Waverley, NS and Emma, Kelsey and Hillary MacLean, Kensington. Step-grandfather of Chris Cutcliffe Borden-Carleton and Scott (Sharon) Cutcliffe, Augustine Cove. Step-great-grandfather to Makenzie, Savanna and Makayla Cutcliffe, Augustine Cove. Brother-in-law of Joyce Best (late Ray), Norma (Lyman) Huestis, Eileen Heffel (late Wesley) and Alan (Mary Lou) Crozier. Predeceased by his sister Geraldine (Robert) Graham and brother Judson (Winnifred) MacLean. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. No visitation by personal request. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery Kensington.
