Passed away suddenly at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on October 4th, 2009, Robert Squires (Bob) of St. John’s, aged 84 years. Veteran of the Korean War. Life-long CNR employee. Leaving to mourn his wife Mary, two daughters: Elizabeth Clarke (Shawn) of St. John’s, and Judy Manchester of Florida; two sons: Robert Jr. (Jodi) and Barry (Johanne), all of St. John’s; grandchildren: Tracey, Claudine, Sean, Katie, Stephen, Christal, Jordan, Brandon, Nicholas, Alley-Grace; great-grandchildren: Kristen, Stephanie and Elizabeth. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, October 5th, 2009 and Tuesday, October 6th, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, October 7th, 2009 at 2 p.m. from Barrett’s Chapel with cremation to follow. Interment to take place on Thursday, October 8th, 2009 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Field Of Honour.
