Passed peacefully away on Sunday, October 4, 2009, at her residence, Grace Tipple-Bennett, aged 88 years. Predeceased by her husbands Frank Tipple and Fred Bennett; brother Thomas; sisters: Margaret, Susanne and Pearl; granddaughter Wanda and grandson Frankie. Leaving to mourn are her children: Delia (Louie), Vera, Harry (Emily), Linda (Rick), Marilyn and Francine (Danny); thirteen grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren; as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the Carnell Memorial Chapel. Cremation to follow. Interment will take place at St. Matthew’s Anglican Cemetery, in Bay Roberts on Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the Autism Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
