The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, of Francis Bradley, of Summerside and formerly of Halifax, N.S., aged 89 years.
Veteran of the Second World War.
Born in Halifax, N.S., he was the son of the late John J. and Magdalena (Chaisson) Bradley. Survived by a sister, Margaret Duncan, Summerside; sister-in-law, Ivy Bradley, Halifax, N.S.; and by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, John Bradley; stepsisters, Annabelle Fougere and Rita Peters; and by a stepbrother, William Fougere.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, until Thursday, then to St. Paul’s Church, Summerside, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
Members of the Summerside branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, will hold a service of remembrance at the funeral home, Wednesday at 5:45 p.m.
