LOUISDALE – Conor Riley Megeney, February 12, 2007 – August 21, 2011.
It is with enormous sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Conor Riley. “Our little man” did not wake from his sleep on Sunday morning.
He will be missed by many, including his mother, Alexa Smith, Louisdale and his father, Terry Megeney, Stellarton. Also, his Papa and Lala, Doug Smith and Lynne Sheridan, Little Harbour; his grandmother, Isabelle Megeney, Stellarton; Uncle Aaron and Aunt Jaime Smith and their children Clark, Finn and Charlie, Little Harbour; Aunt Helen and Uncle Vernon Green, Rocklin; their daughter, Lindsey (Joey) MacInnis and children Abby, Sarra and Patience, Grande Prairie, AB; Aunt Lyda and Uncle Gordon MacKenzie, Kingsport, their daughter Angel (Rob) Geddes, their daughter Storey, Windsor; Great Uncle Randy (Denise) Rice, Langdon, AB; special friends who loved and cared for Conor include Donnie Wilson, Halifax; Mama Eleanor and Papa Roy Sampson, Louisdale; Richard MacDonald and Sharon Rose, West Bay; Alisha (Ross) Sampson and their children Brooklyn and Callum, River Bourgeois.
Conor was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Barbara Smith and his paternal grandfather Ed Megeney.
Arrangements are with the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, New Glasgow, with visitation 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, August 25. There will be no formal funeral. A celebration of his short life will be held at Birch Hill Cemetery, Rocklin, 2 p.m. Friday, August 26. Family and friends are invited to a reception at Union Centre Hall following.
