WARREN, DON KENNETH- The passing of Don Kenneth Warren, husband of Verda (MacDonald) Warren, of Richibucto Road, NB, occurred on August 22, 2011 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on January 31, 1931 in Smiths Corner, NB, he was a son of the late Kent and Letisha (Petley) Warren. Don was a truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being outdoors. Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Denalda Barracosa (Joe) of Hamilton, ON and Sylvia McIntosh (Mike) of Florenceville, NB; one son, Roland (Bev) of Cross Creek, NB; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; his sister, Rose Warren of Moncton, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Thornton.
Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held from York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 3 pm with Rev. Weldon Mutch officiating. Interment will take place at Zealand Cemetery.
