STELLARTON – William “Billy” Works, age 63 of Stellarton, passed away October 5, 2009 in the Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.
Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of Dorothy Rae, Stellarton, and William Works Sr., New Glasgow.
He was an employee of Scotsburn Dairy in Stellarton since 1977. Billy will be sadly missed by his wife of 42 years, Linda; daughters, Angela at home; Lori (Jack) Lannon, Stellarton; his two precious grandchildren, Isak and Jade Lannon; brother, David Works, Stellarton; sister, Helen (Al) Smith, Westville; and his extended family and friends.
Billy enjoyed old cars especially his 79 Ford, long drives, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
Billy was predeceased by his sister, Judy.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or funeral service at Billy’s request.
A special thank you to all the nurses on Medical Day Unit, Palliative Care, and the VON nurses for their help. Thank you to Dr, Farrell, Dr. Khalili, Dr. Drucker, Debbie Williams and any other people who cared for and helped during Billy’s Illness.
Donations in memory of Billy may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society.
