Marguerite Farah Ghiz (nee McKarris), in her 86th year, died peacefully at her home in Charlottetown on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.
Predeceased by her husband, Atallah; son, Joseph “Joe”; parents, Charles and Sadie (Kays) McKarris; sister, Sally Murphy and brother, Robert McKarris.
Dear mother of Roger (Suzanne), Louise, Barbara (Leonard) Green, and Peter (Jennifer). Sister of Helen Michael and June McKarris. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren, Peter Jr., Robert, Jane, Caroline, Matthew, David, John, May, Thomas, Joanne, Sadie and Nathan, and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by her daughter-in-law, Rose Ellen Ghiz, and brother-in-law, Joe Murphy.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home. Funeral service to be held Friday, Aug. 26, from St. Peter’s Cathedral at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at St. Peter’s Anglican Cemetery.
