The death occurred peacefully at the Souris Hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, of Wendell Robertson of Kingsboro, age 84 years.
Beloved husband of Mildred (nee Hackett). Loving father of Daine MacDonald (Ivan) and Wendy Robertson-Nowlan (Alan). Fondly remembered by grandchildren, Craig (Laurie), Julie (J.J.) and Kenny; great-grandchildren, Ruby, Leann, Ella and Brady. Survived by sister, Wanda (Brodie) Dixon, Melford and Harland.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral to be held on Thursday afternoon, Aug. 25, 2011, at the Kingsboro Baptist Church for funeral service at 2 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Souris Hospital or Kingsboro Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
