Passed peacefully away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011, at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL Mary Veronica Hanton, at the age of 71 years, leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Lorraine (Brent Morris), Robert Hanton, Bernice (Martin Janes), Patrick (Susan) Hanton, Paul (Linda) Hanton, Theresa Hanton (Chris Payne) and Damien Hanton (Amanda Sheppard), her grandchildren: Kimberly who lived with her, Michelle, Vanessa, Victoria, Melissa, Sydney, Mark, Sarah, Michael and Ethan, her great-grandchild, Noah, her brothers Raphael Alexander & Thomas Alexander and her son-in-law, Keith Crickard. Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph Hanton, her parents: Adolph & Elizabeth Alexander and her daughter, Anne Hanton, also leaves to mourn her nieces, nephews, other relatives, family and friends. The visitation will take place on Thursday, August 25th, 2011, from the Pentecostal Church in Rocky Harbour, NL from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and continuing on Friday, August 26th, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 27th, 2011 at 2 p.m.; Pastor Howard Feltham officiating, with the burial to follow at the Church Cemetery in Rocky Harbour, NL.
