It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mabel Legge announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre in Stephenville Crossing on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011 at the age of 98 years. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Gladys Butt of Robinson’s, 1 step-son, 3 step-daughters and 1 sister, Marie Shears of Rocky Harbour, Bonne Bay, 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and many relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband William Brown and her second husband Carl Legge. Friends may call at St. George’s Anglican Church in Robinson’s on Thursday, August 25th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place on Friday, August 26th at 2:00 p.m. at St. George’s Anglican Church in Robinson’s with Rev. Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery in Robinson’s. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations to a charity of one’s choice would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are under the supervision of Russell’s Funeral Home, Stephenville.
