DÉRRICK SEEMANN

Dérrik Grant Seemann of Estevan passed away suddenly on August 21, 2011 at the age of 18 years as a result of a car accident near Benson, Saskatchewan. He leaves to mourn him, his parents Grant and Jeannette (Lepage) Seemann of Estevan, his brothers, Marc (Cecile) and nephew Carson, Jonathan and Daniel as well as his grandparents Henri and Maria (Bouvier) Lepage. He also leaves to mourn him his aunts and uncles: Lori Seemann, Debra (Troy) Tait, Angie (Marlo) Krauss, Carole (Craig) Malin, Philippe (Brigitte) Lepage, Laurianne Lepage (Doug) Ridgway, Andréa (Naim) Osmani, Jean Marc (Dominique) Lepage, many cousins and special friends from Regina and Estevan. He was predeceased by his grandparents Edward and Margaret (Diachyshyn) Seemann and his uncle Mark Seemann. Dérrik graduated from Estevan Comprehensive High School on June 28, 2011 but had previously attended École secondaire Collège Mathieu in Gravelbourg. He worked at Houston Pizza in Estevan. His family, friends and Estevan flood victims benefited from his love and talent of cooking. He was a fan of Vinyl Café, CBC radio, video games and Magic The Gathering cards. Dérrik’s great sense of humour and outgoing personality attracted friends of all ages.
Prayers will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at 8:00 p.m., and Funeral Mass on Friday, August 26, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., both at Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral, Gravelbourg, SK. Interment at the Mazenod Cemetery, Mazenod, SK.
