Passed peacefully away at the Hoyles Escasoni Complex on Monday, August 22, 2011. David Parsons, aged 63 years. Predeceased by parents William and Christina Parsons, brothers Bill (brother and best-friend) and Bob Parsons, nephew Christopher Parsons. Leaving to mourn are nephews: Barry Parsons (Susan) and Billy Parsons; great-nephew Nicholas; step-mother Barbara Parsons; sisters: Diana Parsons-Snelgrove and Sharon Chipman; brother George Parsons; special cousins Dave Parsons and Joan Hann, as well as many other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. V. Patel and the staff of Hoyles Home (2 North) for their exceptional care and compassion, including the maintenance crew for making Dave feel like “one of the boys.” Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday and Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Friday, August 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Cremation will follow funeral service. Interment will take place at a later date. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Dave’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
