Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit, Leonard Miller Center in St. John's in the presence of her family after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her husband, Attwell (2010); parents, Samuel and Isabella Hutchings; brothers, Samuel and Leslie; sisters Hattie (Best), Mae (Hutchings) and Shirley (Bishop) (August 2011). Leaving to cherish her memories are her children: sons, Brian of Toronto; Jeff (Gail) of Mount Pearl; granddaughters, Jillian and Kayla (Gavin); daughter, Janice (Darrell) of Corner Brook, grandson, Ryan; sister, Netha Taylor of Hamilton; sister-in-law, Mary Hutchings of Corner Brook; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Cremation has taken place. Private interment will take place in Corner Brook. Friends are invited to visit the family at the Salvation Army Temple, O’Connell Drive, Corner Brook on Saturday, August 27th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
