The family of the late Rodney Greene announce his sudden passing in Ontario on August 21, 2011 at the age of 45 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Carmelita of Halfway Point, daughter Cassandra of Benoit’s Cove, sisters: Maryann (Bernard) of Benoit’s Cove, Margaret (Arthur) of Frenchman’s Cove, Gertrude of Calgary, Kay (Calvin) of Toronto, Doreen (Ken) of Frenchman’s Cove, Jean of Toronto, Judy of Toronto, Jamie (Kerry) of Toronto, brothers: Gary (Imelda) of Halfway Point, Len (Karen) of Halfway Point, Darren (Tracey) of Benoit’s Cove, and Michael (Cathy) of Toronto. Also A large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his father Florance Greene, brothers: James Thomas, twin boys, grandparents: Margaret & Thomas Greene and Gertrude & James Donahue. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Sunday August 28, 2011 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., cremation to follow. Funeral service will be held at Our Lady Star of The Sea Roman Catholic church in Benoit’s Cove on Wednesday August 31, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Father Donald Leonard officiating. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
