Passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on August 20th Helen Rogers of Marystown North age 72 years.
Leaving to mourn special friend Marcel Stacey of Marystown; sons Urville (Cora Simms) of Marystown, Gordon (Barbara), Russell and Wade all of Marystown; daughters Cynthia Coady (Joe) of Jean de Baie and Lisa Mayo (Jim) of Paradise; 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters Marie Corcoran (Edward) of Mortier, Maude Pike (Charles) of Burin, Lorraine Saunders (Baxter) of Creston North and Iona Bowles of Holyrood plus a large circle of other family and friends.
Predeceased by husband Samuel; brothers Harold, Maxwell and Urville Bowles and parents Oliver and Beatrice Bowles.
Rev. Tucker officiated the Funeral Service from United Church, Creston North 2PM Wednesday, August 24th with interment following at United Cemetery, Creston North.
Pall Bearers were Charles Pike, Darren Coady, Urville Rogers, Joe Coady, Gordon Rogers and Jim Mayo.
