It is with great sadness that the family of the late LEO HICKEY of Grand Le Pierre announces his passing at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Centre in Burin on Tuesday August 16, 2011 at the age of 74. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are Brothers Pierce (Marion) of Grand Le Pierre, Michael (Judy) of Grand Le Pierre, Frank (Gladys) of Terrenceville, Peter (Rita) of Grand Le Pierre, George (Elizabeth) of Grand Le Pierre, Charles (Dinah) of Grand Le Pierre, Patrick of Grand Le Pierre, and Raymond of Grand Le Pierre; Sister-in-law Sarah Ann; plus a large circle of family and friends. Pre-deceased by Parents William & Frances Hickey, Brother Ernest and Sisters-in-law Martha and Marjorie. Funeral Mass took place on Friday August 19, 2011 at 11:00am from St. Paul’s RC Church in Grand Le Pierre. Interment followed at the RC Cemetery in Grand Le Pierre. In Leo’s memory, flowers gratefully accepted.
