Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, August 25, 2011. Kevin W. Cole of Bell Island; formerly of Orangeville, ON and resided in Spaniard’s Bay, age 70 years. Predeceased by: parents: Bill and Mary Cole; parents-in-law: Thomas and Maude (Nolan) Dwyer; brother: Don Blackmore. Left to mourn, wife: Margaret 'Peggy'; five children: Karen Cole, Orangeville, ON, Margaret (Jay) Presswood, Grand Valley, ON, Keith, Kitchener, ON, Denise (Bob) Kinsley, Shelburne, ON and Michelle (Paul) Newton, Spaniard’s Bay; eleven grandchildren: Brandee, Alton, Paget, Keith Jr., Kevin, Kyle, Deanna (Phillip), Rob (Amber), Chris, Brianna and Cole; one great-grandson: Nolan; two brothers: Ray (Molly) Mootrey, Kitchener, ON and Richard Campbell, Regina, SK; eight sisters: Marina (Everest) Collier, Stephenville, Yvonne (Richard) Noseworthy, Sylvia (John) Malone, Renee (John) Norris, Rhonda Campbell, all of St. John’s, Heather (Albert) Senior, Marjorie Campbell and Susan Campbell, all of Nova Scotia; also a large number of other relatives and friends. A special thank you to John and Linda Maher for all of their kindness and support during Kevin’s illness. Also a very special thank you to their dear friends Don and Rita Hibbs for always being there. At Kevin’s request, cremation has taken place. Inurnment was held on Sunday, August 28 in St. Michael’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Bell Island. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Kidney Foundation of NL.
