Passed away peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family, Vincent L. Power aged 81 years formerly of Ferryland. Predeceased by his wife of 59 years Josephine Yetman, parents Michael and Eta Clowe along with daughter- in-law Rhonda. Leaving with cherished memories five sons: Michael (Judy), Kevin, Johnny, Vince (Brenda), Barry (Donna); three daughters: Marilyn (Cyril) Sears, Madeline (Derrick) Squires, Nellie (Joey) Morrissey; ten grandchildren whom he adored, also leaving with precious memories eight great-grandchildren; two brothers: Eddie (Anna) and Joe; two sisters: Caroline and Rita (Fred) Sheehan. A large circle of family and friends as well as his special furry friend, Pumpkin. Also a special thanks to the staff of 4 North A at the Health Science Center for their kindness and compassion shown to Dad. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and Monday, August 29, 2011 from 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. with a celebration of his life on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Teresa’s Parish with interment to follow on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy sepulchre.
