The death occurred at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, August 26, 2011, as a result of injuries sustained in a July 19 accident of James William Alexander (Bud) Morrison of Trail's End, Hampton, age 82. Devoted husband of Kaye (Kathleen MacFadyen) and dear father of Heather (Eric) Cutcliffe, Karen Morrison, Nancy (Paul) Domarchuk, John Gordon Morrison (deceased, 1963), Barbara (Kevin) Ferguson, Mary (Roddy) McInnis, William (Kim Pollock) Morrison, Janice (Ken) MacKenzie, and Jennifer (Jason) Spence. Much beloved Grampie of Greg (Alexa) Cutcliffe and Rachel (Matt) Harper, Kate (Chris Craig) and Justin Domarchuk, Kyle (Ashley Roach) and Erin Ferguson, Kurt and Nicole McInnis, Jessica (Mike Walker), Jenelle and Jamie MacKenzie, John, Victoria, Rhea and Paige Morrison, and McHarry, Jenay and Charly Spence. Brother of Morey (Murchison) MacEachern and Howard Morrison. Predeceased by his parents Marion and Clayton Morrison and sisters Ruby Cantwell and Annie Lord MacDonald. Also survived by sister-in-law, Sadie (Lorne) MacLean and brothers-in-law, Retus (Mary) and Victor MacFadyen. Predeceased by brothers-in-law, Glen (Martie), Everett (Heather) and Curtis (Janet) MacFadyen. Resting at Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday and funeral service at South Shore United Church, Tryon, at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Private interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the ICU/CCU Unit of Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be appreciated.
