At the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, August 28, 2011, of J. Edwin Johnson of Kensington, aged 68 years.
Born in Summerside on July 7, 1943, son of the late Andrew P. and E. Enid (Champion) Johnson. Husband of Astrid J. (Millar) Johnson. Father of Marvin (Kelly), Margate; Paul, Margate; Barbara (Stewart) Brookins, Travellers Rest; and Darlene (Shane) Hixson, Cowichan, B.C. Brother of Doug (Judy), Andrea (Stuart) Morrison and Shannon Warrick all of Kensington. Grandfather to Kyla and Eric Brookins, Cody, Alex, Ryan and Kory Johnson, Nik, Jesse, Johannah Hixson and great-grandson Braydon. Brother-in-law of Marlene (Charles) Caseley, Kensington; Erving Millar, Summerside; Marion Profitt, Wilmot Valley; Vernon (Helen) Millar, Kelvin Grove; Gerald (Marion) Millar, Kelvin Grove; and Betty Millar, Kensington. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his brother, Ervin and brothers-in-law, Bruce Profitt and Edgar Millar.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the Margate Cemetery.
