REID, MILDRED - Following a short illness, the death of Mildred Essie (Folkins) Reid, age 81, wife of the late William Reid, of Searsville, NB, occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Sunday, August 28, 2011. She was born on March 29, 1930, in Lower Millstream, NB, the daughter of the late Harold and Annie (Ward) Folkins. Mildred is survived by her daughters Jane and Arthur Keith of Norton, Sharon and Larry Floyd of Apohaqui; son Murray and Lisa Reid of Searsville; grandchildren Michael Keith and Susan Chantler and her daughter Patrina, Stuart and Nicole Keith, Patrick Kelly and Nicole Jaillet, Andrew Kelly and Pamela MacNeish, Anthony Kelly, Ashley Floyd and Jason Knight, Molly Reid and Ian Reid; sister Florence and Allison Elliott; sister-in-law Annie Reid; cousin Audrey Price; several nieces and nephews.
Resting at Sherwood’s Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB with visiting on Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 pm. A Celebration Service of Mildred’s life, conducted by Rev. Tom Robinson, will be held at Kings Kirk United Church, Belleisle Creek, NB, at 11:00 am., on Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Interment will follow in the Union Cemetery. Donations in memory of Mildred may be made to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative Care Fund or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
