WILSON-GRAY, TANYA AUDREY - 1974 - 2011 - Tanya Audrey Wilson-Gray, 37, of Dieppe and formerly of Riverside-Albert passed away peacefully on August 29th, 2011 at the Dr. Georges L-Dumont Hospital with her loving family by her side. Tanya was born in Riverside- Albert Hospital on January 13th, 1974 the daughter of Greg and Gail (Dixon) Wilson. She graduated from Caledonia Regional High in 1993, then went to Compu Tech and was working as a data processor. She enjoyed Nascar, doing needlepoint and reading her Stephen King books. She really enjoyed travelling with her husband and friends on their motorcycle to various locations. She had a very special place in her heart for her boxer, Neko, who was like her baby and she enjoyed all the time she had with him. Tanya was a very special person who had a brief but courageous battle with cancer, she kept her sense of humour right till the end and also accomplished her goal of getting married, which she did on Wednesday, August 24th, 2011. She will be remembered for her laugh and smile and would want everyone to remember all the good times they all shared. Tanya wanted everyone to get the message that we don't really know how long we have, don't take anything for granted and show all your loved ones how much they mean to you everyday. She was truly an inspiration to all those who knew her. Her memory will definitely live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by parents, Greg and Gail Wilson of Riverside-Albert; by her beloved husband, Darryn Gray of Dieppe; sister, Sarah Masters (Stephen) and brother, Gregory Wilson (Nicole Warren) both of Riverside-Albert; nephews, Brett and Owen and Nicole's son, Aiden; paternal grandmother, Audrey Wilson- Power of Hillsborough. She will also be sadly missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She is predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Norman Wilson; maternal grandparents, Sarah Ann and Clifford Dixon and by paternal step grandfather, Leo Power.
The family will be meeting with relatives and friends at the Albert County Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 7 to 9pm, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. The Celebration of her life will be held at the Albert County Funeral Home on Saturday, September 3rd, 2011 at 2:00pm with Pastor Terry Branscombe officiating. The family will be meeting with relatives and friends following the service for further sharing of memories and for refreshments. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
