Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Tuesday, October 6, 2009, Gloria Pearson-Stanley, age 69 years. Predeceased by first husband Richard “Dick” Pearson and her parents Henry and Goldie Burke. Left with fond and loving memories her husband, Gerald Stanley; sons: Rick (Michelle), Ted (Dawn); daughters: Gail (Tolson) Parsons, Lorry (Alex) Au; eight grandchildren: Steven and Melanie Pearson, Paul and Leah Pearson, Michael and Genessa Farrell and Jasmine and Spencer Au; two great-grandsons: Liam and Rian; Gerald’s children: Gerald Jr., David, Wayne, Evelyn, Wanda and Darlene; sister Gini Downer and sons Nicholas, Justin and Matthew; special friends: Wanda Warren and Larry Farrell, and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road. Visitation will take place on Thursday and Friday from 12 noon to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Mary Queen of the World Church on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
