Passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2011, after a lengthy illness and a courageous battle with cancer at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John’s, aged 71 years. Leaving to mourn his sister Gertie Breen (Ed) and brother Clyde (Phyllis); nephews: Jason Breen and wife Susan Dieleman (Toronto), Mark Howell (Ottawa), Brad Howell and wife Patricia (Upper Gullies) and half brother Chesley Howell and family. Harry’s family wishes to extend a special thank you to his neighbors on Gosling Street, especially Gerry Houlihan and his good buddy Hubert Hall for their kindness and support throughout their friendship. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
