Passed peacefully away on Aug. 17, 2011 at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, St. John’s, Mrs. Fay Smith (nee Rumbolt) of Mary's Harbour, NL. She is predeceased by her husband Benjamin, son Bernard, grandson Cleon, brothers Raymond, Chesley, Ross, Harvey, Bernard and Joseph, sisters Ruby and Amelia. Leaving to morn her passing are her sons Jordon (Clara), Steadman (Donna), and Harrison (Betty), daughters Greta (Vincent), Eleanor (Gene), Marie (Lewis), and Millicent (Gerry), 17 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren; brothers Ford (Emma), Claude (Jean), and Reginald (Isi); sisters Donna (Martin), Margaret, and Mary (Freeman); sisters-in-law, Clara, Olive, Evelyn, and Joan and a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives. Donations in her memory may be made in support of Mary’s Harbour Cemetery.
