CHAISSON, BARBARA ANN - The death occurred suddenly at the Moncton Hospital, on August 29, 2011, of Barbara Ann Chaisson (Mullally) of Moncton, New Brunswick and formerly of Toronto, Ontario, and Farmington, PEI., aged 62 years. Survived by her beloved husband of 37 years, Edward Chaisson. Dear sister of Theresa (Walter) Murphy, Charlottetown; Pius (Susan) Mullally, Sudbury; Mary Langlois, Montreal; Earl (Anna) Mullally, Charlottetown; Bernadette (Louis) MacKinnon, St. Peter's Bay; sister-in-laws Catherine Mullally, Sudbury; Lena (Gus) Bernard, Tignish; Celia (Gerry) Strickland, Newfoundland; and Gloria (Stan) Watts, Toronto. Devoted Godmother to her nieces Louise MacKinnon Inglis, Sackville NB; Kim Waine and Melinda Donaldson, Sudbury. A cherished and amazing Aunt Barb to all her many nieces and nephews who she treated as her own children. Predeceased by her parents, Carl and Mary Ann (Steele) Mullally, and her brothers, Joseph, James, and Eugene and sister and brother-in laws, Islay Mullally, Stella Ryan, and Leigh Langlois.
Resting at the Dr. Roddy Community Centre, St. Peter's Bay, on Friday, September 2, 2011 visiting hours from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm. Funeral mass from the St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 10:30am. Interment in the church cemetery. Donations in Barbara’s memory can be made to the Tree of Hope Oncology campaign or the St. Peter's Cemetery Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dingwell Funeral Home, Souris PEI.
