On Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at the Magnolia Continuing Care of Hilda E. MacPhee, of Enfield, N.S., and formerly of New Dominion, P.E.I., in her 99th year.
Mother of Ferne Finlaison of Calgary, AB, and Heather Brown of Fall River, N.S. Grandmother to Lowell (Lori Ann) MacPhee, Cammy (Jim) Barber, Ken (Kim) MacLeod, Jodi (Steve) Warren, Ronald Finlaison, and Carolyn Finlaison (Michael Lynn). Also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by husband, Campbell MacPhee; son, Bruce; son-in-law, Guy Brown; sisters, Annie (Dan) MacDougall and Sadie MacNevin; brother, Leonard (Myrtle) MacNevin; parents, Hector and Emma (MacQuarrie) MacNevin; and sister-in-law, Ann (Stewart) Moore.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home from where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow in the family plot at New Dominion United Church Cemetery. Visiting hours on Thursday 6-9 p.m.
