I remember the night I met you,
And the day God made you mine.
I remember the day I lost you,
And will 'till the end of time.
We took our vows together,
Said 'till death do us part.
Then God came and took your hand,
And my whole world fell apart.
Only God knows the heartache,
I try so hard to hide.
Only God knows how many times,
I've broken down and cried.
But through all the tears and sadness,
This really makes me glad.
You chose me to be your husband,
To share the wonderful years we had,
