Passed away peacefully in Cowansville, on January 9th, 2025, at the age of 85, resident of Brome, husband of Mrs. Dawn Daye, son of the late Robert Allen and the late Kathryn Cann and brother to the late Nancy Vogt. Besides his wife, he is survived by his sons, Tony (Karen), Heath (Caron) and Garth (Lei), his grandchildren, Abigail (Wayne), Nathan, Elizabeth (Peter), Genvieve (Trevor), Bryan (Ruza), Daniel, Macen and Koen, his great grandchildren, Gregory, Maxwell, Thomas, Marjorie and Georgette, Elanor and Murray, his sister-in-law, Barbara Cain (Doug), nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Fondly remembered as a strong family man, a pillar of the community and a great mentor to many students during his years as a teacher, coach at Massey Vanier High School.

A celebration of his life will take place at Creek United Church (278 Brill Road West Bolton), on Saturday May 31th at 2:00 pm, follow by a reception at the church Hall. In his memory a donation to the BMP Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
