It is with great sadness that the family of Edward McHugh announce his passing at the Health Science Center in St John’s at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories beloved wife Carol McHugh, children: Lisa, Monica, Lynn-Marie (Marc), grandchildren: Gio Boreka Edgar (Max), Michael Cyr (Valerie), Amanda Kereluk, Kyle Edgar, Jonathan Cyr, Vicki, and Joanie, great-grandson Tristan. He will be sadly missed by Eugene & Sharon McHugh, Gerald & Ann McHugh, Julia & Owen O’Neil, Carl & Linda, Richard & Sol, Bernard & Linda, Patrick & Cecile McHugh, Bernadette & Ron Pike, also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by mother and father Gerald & Rebecca McHugh, brother Reg and sister Geraldine. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will take place at the Good Shepherd Catholic Parish in Ottawa. Interment to take place in Corner Brook, NL at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
