Patrick James Reilly
Surrounded by family, the death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, after a brief illness of Patrick James Reilly, BA, BSW, MSW of Charlottetown.
Patrick was born November 5, 1952, in Summerside. He was the son of Amelia Reilly, Montreal, Quebec, and the late Arthur Reilly. Patrick is survived by his loving wife Mae MacPhee. Also survived by sisters Elizabeth Reilly (Deb Cecy) and Susan Reilly (Evert Sheppard), Toronto, Ontario; and brothers Richard and Edward, Montreal, Quebec. Patrick is also survived by sisters-in-law Bernetta (Phillip) Hansen, Hampton, N.B.; Bernadette Moran, Christina (Raymond) Gallant, both of Foxley River; Patricia (Patrick) Kelly, Charlottetown, BL Moran (Lorne Flowers), Cole Harbour, N.S.; Leona McIsaac Moran, Mermaid; and brother-in-law Alban (Pam Large) Moran, Charlottetown. Also survived by 14 nieces and nephews, a great niece, two great nephews and one godchild, Daniel Bisanti.
Predeceased by brother Joseph and sisters Sandra Reid and Kathleen Reilly, and brother-in-law Norbert Moran.
Resting at Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Friday, September 2, from 3-7 p.m. Funeral service Saturday 1:30 p.m. at St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church, Foxley River. Interment at a later date in St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, in memory of Patrick, donations can be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or St. Brigid's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery.
