Passed peacefully away at the Miller Centre on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, age 73 years, of CBS. Predeceased by his parents Audrey and Arthur Reid and son Randell (Randy) Reid. Leaving to mourn his wife of 52 years Marilyn (nee Craig) and daughters Cindy (Henry Thevenet), Sharol Pittman (Geoff Newell); son David Reid Jr. (Kim Murphy); brother Roy Reid, 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews, CBS on Saturday and Sunday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service in Topsail United Church, Topsail, CBS on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 11 am.
