KITCHEN, REGINALD SHEWEN
The passing of Reginald Shewen Kitchen age 95, of Fredericton, NB, occurred at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital on Friday, September 2, 2011. Born in Longs Creek NB, he was the son of the late Herman and Victoria (St. Thomas) Kitchen. He was a retired Provincial Public Servant and a member of the Anglican Church. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years Jean (McLaughlin) Kitchen; sons Glenn (Audrey), Gerald (special friend Rose Donnelly), and Andrew (Martha); sister Freyda Gereau; sister in law Hazel Kitchen; grandchildren Shelley, Natalie, Krista, Lisa, Sean, Trina, Jason, Jonathon and Matthew; several great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a brother Marven Kitchen and a brother in law Floyd Gereau. There will be no visitation, a private family graveside funeral to be held with Rev. Dr. Ross Hebb and Canon Tom Smith officiating. Interment will take place at the Fredericton Rural Extension Cemetery.For those who wish, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Peter's Anglican Church, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of the donor's choice.
