NEWELL, Sheila Mary – Passed peacefully away at her Bell Island residence, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at the age of 72. Predeceased by her husband Alex (2011), son Glen (1992) and brother Edward (Penny). Leaving to mourn three children: Alex (Marline) St. John's, Wayne, Hamilton Ont. and daughter Kelly (Jim), Bermuda and 7 grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn sisters: Ita, Trudy (Bill), Sheree Marie (Sid); brother Craig and step-mother Agnes Lahey. Resting at Pendergast's Funeral Home Saturday/Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations can be made to the local Cancer Society. Funeral Mass to take place at St. Michael's Parish, Bell Island, Monday, September 5th, 11 a.m.
