He met Hazel while serving in the Army in Regina, and they were married in July of 1943. They settled in Moose Jaw in 1946 to raise their family and Albert started a very successful painting business shortly after, operating it until his retirement in 1983. Albert enjoyed the outdoors and nature. He loved gardening and animals, but especially enjoyed long conversations with friends and Sunday afternoon tea. Friends and family are invited to a visitation to be held at Parkview Funeral Chapel on Monday Oct 12th from 7-9 p.m. A private family interment will be held on Tuesday, October 13th, 2009 at Rosedale Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined and Memorial donations to the Humane Society of Moose Jaw would be greatly appreciated.
