Passed away at Glenbrook Lodge on September 3, 2011, age 85 yrs,originally from Portugal Cove South. Predeceased by his wife Hannah 2002 and son Don Butler 2000. Leaving to mourn son Melvin Butler(Lehoa), daughters Agg Maher(Kevin), Lena Finlay (Ernest deceased), Phyllis Wilson (Andy), daughter-in-law Bertha Butler. Eight grandsons, three granddaughters, nine great grandchildren, three nephews and one niece. Also a very special roommate (his buddy) Jim Power. Jim and his late wife Hazel (RIP) and both of their families became part of Pad's family 14 months ago. We will never forget how good and kind you were all to Pad and we are so very thankful to each and everyone of you. Also the staff of Glenbrook Lodge, you are the very best and he loved you all. Thank you all for making his last 14 months so great. Remains resting at Fahey's Funeral Home, Trepassey. Visitation on Sunday & Monday, September 4&5 from 2-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial on Tuesday September 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m from Holy Rosary Church, Portugal Cove South.
