Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on September 4, 2011, Effie Pappas (nee Harding) at age 82. Predeceased by her husband, John Pappas and her sister, Olga Bowden (Fred). Leaving to mourn her daughter Mitzi Smyth (Chris); granddaughter, Jane Smyth; and nephew, Keith Bowden (Linda). Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Wednesday September 7th, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Thursday September 8th, 2011 at 2 p.m. with interment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Bauline Line Extension.
