Peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Saturday, September 3, 2011, of Mr. John Alfred “Apps” Arsenault of Charlottetown, age 75 years.
Beloved husband of Etta (nee Hennessey) and loving father of Ann Marie Arsenault (Paul Hooper) of Charlottetown, Kenny (Carol Ann) of Charlottetown, Michele (Barry) Perrault of Halifax, Rosemary Doyle of Charlottetown, Jennifer Arsenault (Mike Holman) of New Hampshire and Veronica Arsenault of Charlottetown. Loving grampy of Michael, Khalehla, Chris, Shelby, John-Eric, Vannessa, Katie Marie, Jennipher, and Michael A. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister Barbara (Leith) Dover, his brothers Reg Arsenault, Jackie (Mary Jane) Arsenault, sisters-in-law Dorothy Arsenault, Sheila Arsenault, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John F. and Annie Arsenault, brothers Leonard (Florence), Joey, Alton “Dee”, Kenneth Paul, and sister Margaret Ann.
Resting at the Hennessey Funeral Home until 9:45 on Wednesday morning, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Upper Room Hospitality Ministry.
