Peacefully at Souris Hospital on September 3, 2011, of John J. (John Stephen) MacDonald, age 87 years. Veteran of the Second World War.
Beloved husband of the late Mildred MacDonald (Hughes). Loving father of Terry (Dorothy), Vera (Jim) Chaisson, Mary Theresa (Brian) Hatt, Kathy (David) Outhouse, Rosemary (Skip) Sauve, Raymond, Jackie (Lane) Mingo and Kenny (Donna). Survived by sisters Theresa and Sister Rita, brothers Walter, Leo, Bernard and George, 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by daughters Stephanie, Marie and Dianne, siblings Annie, Gertie, Amelia, Margaret, Kenny, William and Ronnie.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Legion service at 6:45 p.m. Funeral mass on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at 11 a.m. at St. Columba Roman Catholic Church, Fairfield.
