The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Souris on Monday, September 5, 2011, of Mary Bell MacDonald, age 81 years.
Beloved wife of the late Francis (Jack) MacDonald. Loving mother of Rita (Paul) MacAulay, Dianne (Tommy) Kickham, Marlene and Betty (Pedro) Pereira. Nanny Mary to 10 grandchildren: Chris (Lisa), Ryan MacAulay, Jill (George) Colbert, Maribeth (Jonathan) Vos, Jeff (Angela), Brad (Amy), Nathan (Bonnie), Kyle, Kara (Andre) Kickham and Jack Pereira, great-grandchildren Peter, Ella, Olivia MacAulay, Noah, Mira and Jack Kickham. Survived by brothers and sisters Cathy Campbell, Vernon, John, Shirley Rogerson, Allan (Elaine), Florence Ann Sullivan (Ed), Ron (Barb), Arlene (Simon), Harold (Barb), Marion (Richard) MacGregor, sister-in-law to Charlie (Lottie) MacDonald. Predeceased by parents Alex and Florence MacDonald, siblings; Arthur, Bobby, Ray, Clinton, Roger, Joseph and Rita.
Resting at the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris for visiting hours on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Celebration of life at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Souris on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 2 p.m. Interment in the parish cemetery.
