After a short but valiant battle with cancer, Carole Marie Cusack passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at the South Muskoka Hospital in Bracebridge, Ontario, at the age of 71, with her family at her side.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Kevin, formerly of Tracadie Cross, and five children. Loving mother to Bernadette (Roberto), Kathy, David (Patricia), Patrick and Michael (Brenda). Cherished grandmother to Kayla, Dakota, Coral, Jennifer, Robert and Michael. Survived by sister Evelyn, brothers Gord and Teddy, and predeceased by sister Audrey. A sister-in-law, Doreen (Cusack) Beagan lives in Charlottetown.
Carole was a 25-year employee of Bell Canada and a long-time foster mother. She will be sadly missed by extended family and friends.
The funeral mass was held September 3 at St. Dunstan's Church, 3150 Danforth Avenue, in Toronto, and her cremated remains will be interred at St. James Cemetery, on September 7, 2011.
