BOWES, JOSEPH - Mr. Joseph Bowes of Sussex passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on September 06, 2011 at the age of 84. Born in Dunham, England on September 26, 1926, he was the son of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Cutts) Bowes and was the husband of the late Florence (Gailey) Bowes who passed away in 2000. Joseph is survived by his daughter Catherine "Cathy" Bowes at home as well as several nieces and nephews. Joe was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He is predeceased by his brother George and by his sisters: Elsie, Nora and May.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wallace Funeral Home, 34 Sunnyside Drive, Sussex, (506-433-1176). There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Joseph‘s life will be held from Sussex Wesleyan Church on Thursday, September 08, 2011 at 11:00 am. The interment will take place at Kirk Hill Cemetery. www.wallacefuneralhome.com
