James F LeFrense
November 19, 1932 – August 31, 2011

It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Frederick LeFrense announces his passing on Wednesday August 31, at Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook at the age of 78. Born in Burnt Islands, James was the son of the late Violet and Nathaniel LeFrense of Isle aux Morts. He was also predeceased by his Son Larry, grandson Ryan, brother William, Mother and father in law Irene and Edwin Hillier, and other in laws. He leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife Margaret of 57 years, their children, William (Josephine), Eileen, Valerie (Brad), Shelia (Greg), Gail (James), and daughter in law Mary. Grandchildren; Colin, Gavin, Leonard, Samantha, Danielle, Savannah, and 5 great grandchildren. Sister, Annie (Robert) Prince George BC, brothers; Dominic (Vera), Israel (Louise) all of Isle aux Morts, sister in law Pearl of Halifax NS, as well as a large circle of in laws, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful friends. Visitation took place on Thursday September 1, from 7-9 PM, and on Friday September 2, 10-12 AM, 2-4 PM, and 7-9 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, in Isle aux Morts. Funeral services took place on Saturday September 3, 3:00 PM at Holy Spirit Anglican Church, officiated by Rev. Duncan Granter and Bishop Leonard Whitten.
