At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, October 11, 2009, of Malcolm Edward Beaton, Charlottetown, age 89 years. Husband of Blanche (nee Hume). Father of Edward and Wayne (Tracy). Grandfather of Michael (Leaha), Jeffrey (Stephanie) and Robbie. Great-grandfather of Katie, Matthew, Jessica and Ryan. Brother of Marie Walters (Joseph, deceased), Connecticut and Ernie (Shirley), Lower Sackville, N.S. Malcolm is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Nellie (Hubley) Beaton and by his sister, Ruth Thompson (Herbert). Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in St. John’s Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Belfast.
