Passed peacefully away at her family’s residence on Saturday, Oct. 10th, 2009 at the age of 77, Mrs. Leone (nee Tilley) Griffin. Predeceased by her husband Donald, and son Barry. Leaving to mourn her sons Bruce (Judy), Brian (Karen), Terry (Charmaine), and Bob (Cliff), and her daughter Sherry; her brothers Bill (Ena), Joe (Bernice) and Bob (Patricia); grandchildren Michael, Kandi, Mitchell, Kourtney, Mark, Kim, Donald, Andrew, Colette, Ashley, Jessica and Terry; great-grandchildren Michael, Matthew and Gavin. Also, a large circle of family and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Paul Skirving, her home-care worker Allen Young, special friends Andrea and Jim Woolridge, and to the many family members and friends who helped in any way during Leone’s illness. At Leone’s request, cremation has already taken place. Our family would be honoured to have you join us in a celebration of her life at a Memorial Service held at Carnell’s Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 14th, 2009 at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date.
