Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, October 12, 2009, Mrs. Elizabeth R. Porter, age 78 years of Port de Grave. Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Marion (nee Woolridge) Chaytor; son-in-law Bruce Harvey. Leaving to mourn husband Melvin, four sons: Alfred (Clarice), Edmund (Marion), Dave (Cynthia), Calvin (Wanda), four daughters: Marilyn (Ron), Maxine (Wilson), Marguerite (Max), Louise (Reg); sister Louise (Harry); stepsister Elsie; stepbrothers Cyril and Dorman; 21 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts. Visitation Tuesday 2 to 9 p.m.; Wednesday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at 2 p.m. from St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Port de Grave. Interment in the St. Luke’s Anglican Cemetery, Port de Grave.
