RYAN, Austin “Richard” aka Dick – Nov. 7, 1931-Sept. 1, 2011, Bell Island, N.L. Richard passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Shirley (Spencer), his sister Joan & brothers Clyde, Ivan, Jack & David. He leaves behind his children Sharron, Garry & Sandra; his grandchildren Jennifer, Kristine, Matthew & Ian and his great-grandson Malcolm (who will now care for his great-grandfather’s treasured button accordion). Richard will be missed by many for his witty sense of humor & his music & artistic talents. A memorial will be held in the future on Bell Island for both Richard & Shirley. Donations in leau of flowers can be made to the Salvation Army.
