CLARK, HOWARD - Howard Yerxa Clark, 83, passed away peacefully at the Jordan Lifecare Center, on Saturday September 10, 2011. Born December 24, 1927, in Mouth of Keswick, NB. He was the son of the late Hayward and Laura (Yerxa) Clark. He was a member of the Salisbury United Church and an avid horseman taking part in many of the local fairs. He was a former board member of the Pine Hill Cemetery and a retiree of the Jordan Memorial Home. He will be sadly missed by his wife Shirley (Alward), two daughters Joanne Flynn (Andy) of Miramichi, Rhonda McNeil (Stephen) of Riverview; two grandchildren, Arminda and Sarah; sisters Mary Gilbert (Henry) of Fredericton, Evelyn Jewett of Keswick Ridge and Jean O'Leary (Michael) of Buffalo, NY; one brother Donald of Keswick Ridge. Also by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister-in-law Nancy.
Visitation will be held at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Salisbury Rd (372-4800) on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 7 to 9pm. Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 1pm with Rev. D. Compton officiating. Interment will follow at Fairhaven Cemetery, Moncton. If desired, memorials to the Canadian Cancer Society, Friends of the Jordan Lifecare, Heart and Stroke and the Salisbury United Church would be appreciated by the family.
