BRACE, W. LOUISE - W. Louise Brace, 84, of Moncton, with her loving family at her side, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday morning, September 11, 2011. Born in Mapleton, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Dorothy (Smith) Stiles. Louise was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of First Baptist Church, a member of the Evelyn Eaton W.M.S., Dominion Life member of the UBWMU, member of the Adult Sunday School Class and in past years was involved in several churches. She was a former Brownie and Girl Guide Leader, former member of The Gideons, former Sunday school teacher and a former volunteer for the Red Cross Meals on Wheels program. She enjoyed cooking, reading, knitting, gardening, walking, bicycling, cross country skiing and golfing with her husband, travelling, socializing with her friends and spending precious time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Louise will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 59 years, Loyal G. Brace, her children, Sylvia Williston (Dave) of Lakeville Westmorland Co., Wendy Jones (Rev. Greg) of Quispamsis, Natalie Shaw (Carl) of Boundary Creek and Geoff (Pam) of Moncton; precious grandchildren, Elise, Eric (Leanne), Laura O’Rourke (Dan), Amy Pike (David), Molly, Joel (Monica), Tiffany, Kristi, Heidi Moore (Mark), Kaitlyn, Emily and Caleb; cherished great grandson, Cameron; sisters, Bertha Babcock (late Claude) of Goshen and Laura Hoar (late Gerald) of Moncton; sister in law, Elsbeth Stiles of Petitcodiac; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Ralph.
Visitation at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Tuesday from 5 to 8pm. Funeral Service to be held at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at 11:00am with Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson officiating. Reception following the service in the Funeral Home Reception Centre. Interment, Elgin Cemetery. Spencer Memorial Home for the love and care given to our mother during her illness.
